Hey there, it's me! Old thread went past the six months deadline of being able to post comments so I'm reposting. Feel free to re-introduce yourselves or whatever below. :)
Hi everyone!
Here are the rules. I copied this from the previous rules thread, but that guy deleted his account and I feel it's a bit un-nerving seeing the stickied post is from a person who deleted their account. Anyway, here they are:
- We are not about hardware or software hacking. Our plan here is to create a community of artists, that enjoy coming up with interesting ideas that change the way the PS4 system (and it's accessories) looks. If you post homebrew or hacking content, you will be immediately banned and your post removed.
- Do not abuse other users and moderators. Doing so results in a warning, and three warnings result in a ban.
They're the only rules. But yeah. Post all your PS4 mods (specified in the sidebar and right above) here! We look forward to seeing what you come up and remind you to create awesome mods that think outside the box! Also, introduce yourself below! Thanks everyone, and thank you for subscribing. :)

PSN Ban Reports on Gaming Sharing Piracy Accounts!
The PS4 MTX Key ModChip has only been out for a month, and it looks like Sony has decided to crack down on this clone of the more costly Russian device that was privately sold to modshops since late 2015, so for now those wishing to use Game-Sharing modchips will have to be forced to stay on v4.72 and stay offline, which was recommended by the sellers anyway, it was never designed for online usage.
The lifespan of the PS4 MTX Key modchip will only have been of a few weeks. The device, which was enabling game sharing with virtually infinite numbers of “friends”, has been confirmed by multiple sources to be patched with the latest PS4 firmware. PS4 Firmware 4.73 was released earlier today to block the MTX Key and all of its clones.
As is often the case with such security updates, the official changelog from Sony does not explicitly mention what’s under the hood:
This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.
The video below, posted on scene site psxhax by user SheenuTheLegend, shows that all pirated games now appear as “locked” on the account using the MTX Key, preventing them to start. This is not a big surprise (we had mentioned the many ways Sony could choose to block the MTX Key), and more pain could be on the way for the few people who had chosen to buy the piracy device: Some users on psxhax are reporting that their accounts used for gamesharing have been banned. In other words, it seems like staying on firmware 4.72 will only delay the inevitable.

No word yet if the newly announced Team E3 Announces E3 Share for PS4 will also be blocked, of if they have the technical skills to update it for newer PS4 firmwares.NEWS SOURCE: PS4 Firmware 4.73 released, blocks MTX Key, ban reports on shared piracy accounts (via) Wololo
